Exercise voyager was certainly memorable. I was actually caught on camera for being really pissed while setting up the millionth roll of concertina wires! Bloody hell. But overall it was great. An eye-opener to this entire military war-gaming thingy. I think it all makes more sense now. The bigger picture is more complete. And of course Guards trashed the enemies.muahahahaha! Except maybe for one of the attacks where the tanks refuse to explode as we do not have the test set for the law tubes which made Cpt Paul really pissed off! Hahaha. It was damn funny how he actually went all the way to the battlefront to ask those tankies what we could do to kill them! There were many firsts for me. Being able to experience the different modes of transport – chinooks for insertion, recce jeep for patrol as well as the carrier boat as part of the movement phase. Looking forward to ATEC.

Este's so-called surprise dinner turns out to be really SURPRISING in the end. But it was fun still. You should have seen how Este was damn disappointed when we told her that we only bought for her a small pathetic card. She was so trying to put that fake miss universe but well-maintained smile. Eventually, we revealed her actual gift which had a catch to it. She had to consume it within the next half an hour otherwise it would melt and be wasted. So, she had no choice but to share the tub of ice cream that we had carefully chosen the flavours (which were our individual favorites by the way). This is to teach her the lesson of sharing on her twentieth birthday! Muahahahah. *Evil laughs. Jokes aside, Happy Birthday Este. Grow up and start being punctual.hehe. and and, it can't be help that some people are just out to make your life more "interesting". Just ignore and laugh over their efforts for credit :)

Farewell fuyee!
Here's wishing you all the best as you enter a new environment as part of your academic pursuit. Don't worry too much ah! I'm sure you'll do well like you have always done so in the past :) CSM has always been singing praises about how capable and responsible you are.hahaha. There was one occasion while I was doing work for encik, and he came up to me and said: I think what fuyee said was true, never prove your worth. Otherwise, you'll be the victim of being arrowed! I guess if you survived him, you would be able to survive everything on this planet!

I should have went to the steamboat/bbq lunch last sat with you guys but it was thanks to my eye infection that made it seemingly impossible to go out.damn. Anyway, thanks for being a great mentor/upper-study. You and Nicholas made my transition to unit life smoother. And if not for you guys, there is a big possibility of me signing tones of extra duties. You taught me well and I'm sure people in Melbourne would be fortunate to have you around. Keep in touch :) I'll try to send you your favourite SAF night snacks via mail! Hehe. Stay hip and funky. Farewell smarty pants.
