Turning 21.
It is interesting how almost everyone everywhere is making quite a big hoo-haa over the fact that they will be turning 21. What is it about being 21 that makes it so uniquely different from other years, say 16? 12? Or even 19? The answer is simple- Adulthood. (but then again, people also make a big deal about their every other birthdays..so, it's quite a wonder). Whatever it is, more often than not, we get too caught up with our very own MEGA & to-be-remembered-for birthday parties and bashes that we forget the real and true meaning to be 21. It is not just about organizing something over the top or something sweet or something simple to remember that very day you turn a year older as you usher in adulthood. It is more. It calls for a personal reflection to see how far you have come and how much further are you able to go in that promising future. What is being 21 to you khai?
